Have you ever felt like no one could understand your personal chaos? Like you've lost yourself, and anxiety has begun to rule your days? If only you had the energy you had a year — or five years — ago, everything on your plate would feel manageable, right?
If you're facing new or severe anxiety, or extreme exhaustion, you're not alone. I was once searching for these same answers too. There's a lot of information out there, and it can be so confusing. Many times, that overload stops us from taking action and adds to the anxiety and exhaustion. It's okay — you just haven't had the right person explain it to you yet.
A Note From Anya
In my late 30s, I started feeling extremely anxious — worrying constantly over small things, carrying a sense of impending doom, replaying past decisions in my mind. At the same time, I felt physically exhausted. Even trying to get healthier felt overwhelming: should I eat this or that? Take this vitamin or that one? Mentally I was so tired from the excessive worrying that some days I could barely eat. Physically, I was so tired that even eight hours in bed left me feeling like I had to rip myself out of it.
Through natural medicine and nutrition, I discovered that identifying where your hormones are out of balance can help you find the real you again — by nourishing the weak spots. I found my way back: I work out four days a week, eat a huge variety of foods, run my own business, and have the energy to show up for the people I love. I could not have done that without nourishing myself from the inside out and balancing my hormones.
What You'll Learn
It's not how much you have to do, or your level of stress, that keeps you exhausted. Your body is like a luxury car — it needs premium fuel to perform at its peak. What you're fueling with matters more than how busy you are.
Exercise can absolutely contribute to your energy — but only if you balance it with your cycle, instead of working against yourself. The wrong workout on the wrong day can leave you more drained, not less.
Even the strongest, most successful people need a supportive environment. You are strong — you need an environment that makes you even stronger, which often means detoxing your environment too.
